Every long-form article on this site that touches health is reviewed by a certified professional before it is published. The reviewers below have each signed off on specific pages; click through to read their bio, verify their credentials, and contact them directly.

How clinical review works on this site

Every long-form article is written by Aftab and then sent to a reviewer whose area of practice matches the topic. A physiotherapist reviews the article on body composition for athletes; a registered dietitian reviews the article on calorie and macronutrient planning. The reviewer marks up the article, suggests corrections, and signs off — at which point their name is added to the article byline and to the network on this page.

The reviewers are paid a flat fee for the review. They are not paid per article, not paid for traffic, and not paid to keep the calculator's results favourable. They have no commercial relationship with the site other than the review itself.
